The truck passed emissions test with no problems. So with the plates attached it was time for a test run. I loaded up the Scout and headed to Nevada to visit Skipped Link for a couple days. I wanted to check out his new axles and mess with the Scout a little bit.

I was smart and left spliced out wires for the 7 pin for stop and running lights. Just need the 12v and the trailer brake.

Cam i would suggest building a 14 bolt rear.
Your gonna have to buy knuckles and shafts anyway.
Ive seen you drive, you will tear up the ring and pinion running on the coast side. Im positive you would be money ahead doing a 14 bolt steer axle

I kept forgetting about the power steering reservoir. It was mounted on the fairings I removed off the back of the cab. I had just bungeed it underneath while I was working.
I didnt want it on the back if it was at all possible so....
