I think you're some kind of a truck driver......so with that being said, without being a railroader, it's hard to explain my comment. You'd have to experience it to know. I go to bed at 0400 hrs one day, then I'm back on duty at the exact same time the next. My schedule is erratic at best!!!

I don't really know the torque numbers, but running power is 8500 horsepower, and it'll peak up to 9000 horsepower. (2 locomotives) Back in my freight days I had a short little hotshot from Portland to Seattle that had a combined total 39000 horsepower. :eek:

At 860 ft/lbs of torque, it's something you can't afford!!!!! :D

This is what I was thinking; I was going to run a small air pump (ford/cadillac) and put this pressure switch in-line. My theory (strictly mine) was that as the tire aired up, once it hit 35# the pump would shut off. Sort of the 'tire' being the tank. :confused: Again, this was just an...

I drove up and down the Legacy Parkway just the other day and noticed that the paths were not cleared of any snow. It looked as if no one had even been on it. Today it may be different.

Would it matter if I used an adjustable fuel or oil pressure switch in an on board air system? Fuel, oil, air.......? I want to run a small air compressor to air up my tires and just have it shut off at the right pressure. Kind of taking out the guess work. JEGS has both adjustable...

I have no complaints about 2009, but I'm sure 2010 can be better. For those of you who are hungover........ :D
