Very cool direction, and looking forward to the build.

When finishing the project the axle shafts were a bit too long and were both into the diff cross pin. I had to trim a 1/4" off of each shaft to get them to fit. Added a small bevel and cleaned up the splines with a file and everything went together well.

I used these on the rear of JK with the semi float CRD60 but no longer need them with the full float. They are aircraft aluminum and were fairly expensive when I bought them a 18 months ago. $100 obo, and located in Orem.

The new spindle for the full float has a press fit into the axle where the old race was, and it is long enough so that you can spot weld on each side to help make it stronger. It does have the 4 bolt mount with a thick retainer also.

Looks like a nice truck. Branded for being stolen is a pretty safe bet.

Just an update on the rear CRD. The seals started leaking and I bought a couple of new set 20 bearing and seal kits. Also bought a couple of spare CRD shafts because they're notorious for breaking. When it came down to it I couldn't bring myself to R & R a known failure point. Decided to bite...

My son-in-law had the wiped out thing on his second Moderna shot, but it was gone in 24 hours. Our second Pfizer didn't phase me at all, nor my wife.

Love the MCE fenders and have seen them severely bent and rock rashed and spring back to normal fairly quickly.

I actually have a ported Scout steering box that's been sitting for a lot of years, that I was going to list in the classifieds.

The problem with most of those front end hits is they bend rails at the weakest part of the frame all the way to the next strongest part, i.e. the belly pan mount. My guess is if that if it was a bad wreck, it might not be a good candidate for the Motobilt front end kit. Lots of measurements...

Oh man, that sucks. Glad you were in a position to replace it instead of waiting on the repair.

I did the front brakes, unit bearings, and cv shafts in the front end of my 2002 DMax a few weeks ago, so all of that looks very familiar.
