The sheetmetal work you're doing looks great. What welder are you using? I was wondering if you had enough floor left from the piece that was cut out to fill the corners.

Not sure if you're keeping the inner wheel wells, but you can get them to match up if you make some relief cuts and pound them up. That's how I did the LTJ. My guess is you will cut them out and make more room inside, which will eventually be my plan.

I've been shooting for 112" on every rig since the Willys buggy. Didn't hit it very often, but love that length.

I picked this 2015 Summit (another Hemi) for the wife a few years ago and love it. The trans shifts a little hard and I'm not a fan of the quadra lift, but love the Jeep and the power.

As soon as you mentioned the new drivetrain wouldn't fit the Willys I saw this writing on the wall. BTW, you know my project was already going to have the same shortened body and small bed on the back so don't accuse me of copying you. :p Looking forward to the build.

Sorry to hear the frustration Greg and I can see how the LS/4L80e would dwarf the space of a 4.3/350 combination. I would be less worried about cutting the tunnel and floor than routing the exhaust. Can't you run an exhaust cross over somewhere to go down the other side?
