    Coronavirus

Public health officers are in a no-win situation. If we don't have mass hospitalizations and deaths, most the population will cry "over reaction" and whine about the government (and probably be even less likely to take future warning seriously). Few will think 'oh good, the steps we took...

Very cool! Lots of fun times ahead.

    Coronavirus

We can argue and bitch about whether the death rate is 4% or 6%, that is really besides the point and statistic vary day to day and will vary by source. Nothing out of the ordinary there by any means when discussing medical outcomes. Even the impact of numbers tested is of limited importance...

    Coronavirus

Someone up above again made a comparison to the flu. That really needs to stop. As I mentioned before, most likely more people will die of the flu than COVID-19. But the risk of rapid spread is far higher with any new virus since there is zero "herd immunity " among the population since we...

    Ford 2021 Ford Bronco

Already know I will be in the SUV market next fall, so going to be worth a look.

    Coronavirus

Few things there I think need correction. Not wanting to get overly political, but last I heard Trump's solution to the economic impact was a payroll tax reduction, which is plain stupid. It obviously does nothing for those who are not working either because they are out sick (generally short...

    Other aspects of Cuba

Seems like the travel restrictions are kind of a joke. Officially you can not travel to Cuba as tourist on a US passport. There are several classifications of travel that are allowed- including "support of the Cuban people". So tour groups are legal in that we 'support the Cuban people' by...

    Motorhome rental

Depending on your trip, you may want to rethink that. Being able to park the trailer and explore in the truck gives you a lot more flexibility than a motorhome.

    Coronavirus

Mixed thoughts: Any time we have a new disease that 1) not a lot is known about and 2) most the population has not been exposed and thus lacks immunity, we need to be cautious and recognize that a major epidemic MIGHT happen (but most likely will not, think of SARS and MERS). At the same time...

Bring *all* the tinfoil hats for this one...

Interesting, but far more assumption and indirect "evidence" than anything.

    Other aspects of Cuba

And last of all from the area around the Bay of Pigs (yes, that Bay of Pigs.) Some wonderful snorkeling- an area I wish we could have spent more time in. Another interesting note was on Sunday we attending church in Havana. There are two LDS branches in the country, with a total membership...

From the town of Trinidad, roughly 400km from Havana on the south coast. Great beaches, although don't have many pics of it.

They have their challenges, and I would love to see what it would have looked like in its prime. Parts of it look tired and worn out but reflect a past glory.
