    XJ Fuel Mileage Help

OBD1 4.0s had two temp sensors, one in the front of the engine and one at the back of the head. The one in the back runs the temp gauge and the one up front is for the computer. On the OBD2 motors there is only one sensor which is the one up front. 96 was a change over year so my guess is that...

Northern Utah Expedition Utah is Stoked to Announce Retro Ramble: Part I

84 Scrambler, 87 comanche, 85 K30 Chevy, 85 XL 250 Honda.... I could totally do this one. I can even bring the 86 fishing boat.....I would have to leave the 73 Commando for the Relic run.

    Central Utah Topaz Mtn ideas

A friend at work that we used to go out there with had one of the Dodge maxi vans and it was fine. It will drag its back end in some of the wash crossings up the canyons but the main roads will be fine.

Our 4.0s do much better than that. Do you have any error codes showing up ? If the heat sensor, oxygen sensor are messed up or if you have a cracked exhaust manifold that is leaking badly it may be running rich.

WTB Dana 60 Standard cut low pinion ring gear 4.10

I have a set from an old Ford axle, you can have if you want it, it has a coarse spline yoke on the pinion so I didn't use it.

Yes I know the area well and have camped out there quite a few times. We camp on the east side of the range in a little box canyon where we find garnets. Its a couple of miles north of the main collecting area. We usually come in from the Pismire wash road. You can get to the geode beds by...

Scrambler project test run in Moab

Yes it worked great, rides much smoother and doesn't lift wheels like it used to. I can get much more rear axle movement. The spring under lift springs that I had would shove the axle back into the fenders when they were articulating so I had to limit the up travel. The only issue that I may...

Scrambler project test run in Moab

A couple from Metal Masher in the rain. We didn't get out to take many pictures because it was pouring. Mirror gulch was fun with a stream coming down the rocks.

Scrambler project test run in Moab

I've enjoyed wheeling so much in my Commando with 4 links that I decided to link up the Scrambler this winter. I decided to go try it out in Moab this weekend. We knew that it was the car show weekend but I have never seen so many people on every trail. The trails were packed with UTVs, ATVs...

    Wanted Need some limiting straps

I will need 4 but need two for the front for sure as the front drive line cv binds at full axle droop.
