My 07 has a 6speed allison I'm not sure if that's only year or not though. When I'm pulling usually 75 I leave it in drive if I come to a good hill I put it in manual mode and drop it to 4th and slow to 65. I will hold that on most hills pulling my boat or camp trailer. The trucks do not return...

I believe all trucks with the 8.1 had the allison in them. I don't think twice about the tranny but I only have 60k on my truck. Only problem is the oil consumption like I mentioned above it will use a quart and a half every oil change.

I have 07 classic 8.1 with exhaust and intake. Great truck but doesn't get 10 mpg. Other than the fuel mileage and oil consumption I love it. You're welcome to come drive it if you'd like.

I have the Milwaukee jacket. The heater works great but the battery only last 90 minutes and the jacket is really light weight. I'd recommend a carhart for me there are hard to beat when it gets cold easy to clean too.

If this was the case we'd have no more cops.

I'd do the head unit before you replace the sub and amps.

What kind of heart worm medicine? If he recommended heart guard I'd look at other options there are some cheaper ones that kill more worms.

I just went through the same thing. Same tire as well on our travel trailer it was the belts in the tire like rholbrook mentioned.

Built a trailer for the company my dad works for to use at tailgates. It turned out really well the tv's are 60" the speakers are 8" coaxial it has a 12" as well. We just painted the inside all that is is left is to put some shelving inside and it will be done.

built a fire pit for a friend a month or so ago. The base is half of a whiskey barrel with led lighting turn out pretty cool this is version 2.0. The one with the lights is v 1.0.
