    Build Thread: Sixstringsteve's 2005 4Runner Lorenzo

This is very similar to the set up on ours. I have 265/75R16 the one thing I would do differently is order a 1" spacer from cornfed for the rear. It still has some rake in it that I'm not to fond. Putting a bumper on it will only make it worse. It drives great with the spacers make sure you take...

In 4low with the center diff locked it will get you where you need to go. What I was talking about is if you start sliding the stability/traction control is pretty impressive.

One thing that has really impressed me on our 4runner is the traction control. It has saved my bacon a couple times.

help me brainstorm what to get for my next vehicle

Didn't change the sound on the v6 at all. If there is a downside I haven't noticed it. Not only does it function better I think it looks better as well.

help me brainstorm what to get for my next vehicle

One of the best things Ive done to ours is route the exhaust out the side. I couldn't stand loading or unloading stuff out of the back and getting exhaust dump all over me. I had the resonator cut off when they did it.

help me brainstorm what to get for my next vehicle

Why not a v6? We have an 05 sr5 that has been great! Sure the extra ponies would be fun but it sure was nice not paying to replace a timing belt. We have 265/75r16 duratracs on it and it will go as fast as I'd like over parleys. With the seats folded all the way forward me and my bil slept in it...

    Horses

What unimog said. I have grown up around horses my whole life my father still has four right now. It is a very expensive hobby the amount of money he spends he could have a buggy, Harley and a damn nice boat. Vet bills and keeping shoes on them as well as food adds up fast. At a minimum my dad...

My vote is the powerstroke van. I think with a programmer and a little work it might be the most fun to drive out if all of them.
