Sorry about the buggy not being operable at the moment, but it would be great to have you guide us again. Anyone else local able to tag along, or are you willing to represent by yourself?
Sorta. In the end, everybody dropped out except for 4x4life and myself. We parked at the reservoir and talked for 20-30 just waiting to see if anyone else might show up. When nobody did, we both decided just to call it and not head up into the mud.
I'm off again tomorrow, but after two...
Anybody else here like roller coasters? If so, maybe we should schedule a trip to Taiwan. (Warning: there are a few NSFW words throughout the video... though it is completely understandable.)

I've run it twice, so I could probably find the trail head. However, I'd like at least one local to be there with us so we can head out the top rather than having to turn around and run the trail back out.
Any word yet?
I've got a co-worker who has never run this trail but would like to. He is very experienced and will handle it well, so no worries there. Still, I told him it would need to be a larger group than just the two of us. We are currently open to going on either Saturday or Sunday...
EDIT: the trip is happening on Sunday, October 6th. We will meet at the Maverik station on 100 N Main in Ephraim at 9:00am. Current list of attendees:
TurboMinivan - TJ
My co-worker Keith - TJ
My co-worker Scott - TJ
My friend Mark - XJ
Rockreligious (as a passenger and local trail guide)...
I just found out a friend has an uploaded video of me bracket racing my old minivan. This is one of two races in my life where I broke out by .001 second. Ever lose a race by one thousandth of a second? It sucks.

:)
:(
There were some people trapped for a short time on Saturday due to a few small slides which put mud on the road, but it was cleared and they all got out later that evening.
I tried to run MB last Thursday, but had to cancel due to lack of fellow 'wheelers. One of those--my friend Rich with a bone stock TJ--has committed to going out this Thursday. This will be his first trail run for him and this rig, and he wants to see how well it performs. I figure this will...
Well, my two friends have both just cancelled on me, which leaves me with no confirmed travel companions... so I won't be going.
I hope nobody else shows up unannounced and waits for me to arrive.
