In the afternoon we drove up to the Red Canyon overlook. Great views but also heard some bighorns had been chillin' in the area: Sorry, the canyon photo with controlled burn smoke was actually from the deer hunt the week before.

If the behavior is to the point where you feel unsafe, I would not hesitate to contact the police directly. May there be some risk of retaliation from your boss? Probably, but that may be a much better risk to take than waiting for people to be harmed.

As a starter gun, especially for kids, I don't think you can beat a single shot .22. Won one a few years ago and has become my stand by for teaching new shooters. Takes an extra step to be ready to fire and less risk of accidentally remaining loaded. Mine is a Henry- don't know cost for sure...
