Jobs! Looking for a job? Is your company hiring? Post up here!

The company that I work for is hiring in our service department for a steam cleaning position. The position is not glamorous, but it's a foot in the door to the energy field as far as rewinding electric motors, generators, variable speed drives and other automation. The steam cleaner is...

    Gary Lee meets the Widowmaker!

Wow, that bottom of Widowmaker is dug out! It's been a few years for me, but I can certainly see the difference from what it was. Great pics!

    Where and what?

    1. How big of a boy are you? 195lb 2. How well do you want it to perform offroad? Just riding simple fire roads? or looking for riding some technical single track? I'm thinking fire roads more than anything. I am not planning on anything technical until I am confident with my...

ever wonder what happened to your old rig(s)?

The owner of my old 4runner found me on expeditionutah.com just last week. It's nice to see that it is still straight and in good working order. The owner lives in Tooele and takes it out often it sounds like.

    HAM Radios

^ In English please! ;) Kurt really did sum it up nicely. The online pre-tests are your best friend. IIRC, I took the test twice before passing. The first time I took it I hadn't really studied and I almost passed. I then did the pre-tests online and had no problem passing the second time...

    Where and what?

I'd imagine that I would start out doing 85-90% road. It would be fun tk have the option to hit a dirt road every now and then, like a quick jaunt south of Tooele.. Just putter around some dirt roads, probably not even trails. Looks like I may be getting a company vehicle in the next few...

Guy Conquers Hells Revenge in a Crown Vic

No need to apologise. :) That Vic looks to have more clearance than a Nissan Xterra. Perhaps I'm in the wrong rig.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone questioned that... I came across that video on another forum with an identically themed thread.

    Steve's '94 Toyota x-cab mild build

^ Dear God Almighty... You didn't. Tell me that you didn't Sharticus. :scary: Perhaps instead of instructing on 'driving tips', you could go over what not to do to your rig that could potentially kill multiple people. ;)

    planning noob run part 2

I have to agree with Kurt here. I see a class that folks can spend time soaking in new concepts in a classroom type atmosphere. Several hours would be needed for this; heck, the Wasatch Cruisers recovery night went for an easy two hours and the surface was nearly scratched. Add to that other...

    planning noob run part 2

I don't see anything wrong with having an agenda listing topics and the times that they will be covered. One spot just seems most logical when instructions are being given to a relatively small group (small meaning this isn't the offroad Expo).
