But they would have to do it in Land Rovers. If they want to make it. HA Ha http://www.range-rover-classic.com/Home/range-rover-darien-gap

Cole's 2003 Land Rover Discovery II

I think the 4.6 motor has the 4HP24 for its transmission. Which is a bit more stout than the 22. Nice rig. I like the rack. I have a 2000 D2 and a 1993 RRC LWB 4.2

    Tonkamans little Cracka

Coiled Straight axles are much better than leaf sprung axles for ride quality. My Range Rover and Disco ride great off-road and on. I'd rather have the straight axle, less parts to replace and worry about. But Land Rovers use radius arms and a panhard bar, so there is a lot less to go wrong...

    Tonkamans little Cracka

Solid Axle for the win. Another reason I hate IFS. So many parts to break when off road. My last IFS was a Jeep Commander. I was always afraid it was going to blow up on me out in the middle of nowhere.

No I have solid axles. That doesn't happen. The engine isn't exactly the strongest part. But owning a Rover is knowing how to fix problems.

Need help Planning for a "Swell" Trip

I think I will just go and see what happens. My buddy and I are taking our Range Rover Classics. I will have traction control, a slight lift and AT tires. My buddy has no traction control, no lift and some mud tires. Should be fun. At least they have good articulation. If no one hears from...

Mine was doing that from the HPOP (high pressure oil pump). I can't imagine trying to find a leak on that van. It's hard enough to work on the engine in a truck. My truck turns me into a sailer everytime I have to work on it.

I really like Baker's Diesel in Ogden. They are very knowledgable with Powerstrokes. I know it's a drive, but they are cheaper than others and do good work.

Need help Planning for a "Swell" Trip

I've never been to the San Rafael Swell. I'd like to go through Goblin Valley, explore the Swell and finish up going through Capitol Reef. I need help. I'm getting overwhelmed. I don't know where to go and what to see. I've looked at about 10 different trips all with different things to...
