I will be having a meeting with Juan Palma this month or next at the latest to give our side of the story and make U4's presentation for keeping us in the forefront of any suspected changes. Also as noted elsewhere Don Black will be showing Juan Palma some of the roads near Kanab.

With the changes taking place within U4WDA now would be a good time to volunteer or at least join so we can show membership numbers. We need help with events, public relations, education and just plain old involvement. Stop talking and thinking and start doing.

I remember it was a Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 engine that won the Baja 1000 about 1996. So the 4.0 is a good choice IMO.

Wrong Hector, the one I know was a member of the Roughwheelers, worked at Northrop, worked check points on the Baja and was a Toyota nut case. I was asked to perform his wedding in the middle of the Anza Borego desert but had to decline. Long story.
