I'm scheduled to work a night shift that Friday, so I'm out... On the subject of lighting, glare off the front fender can be annoying. A matte black tape is a good temporary solution. If doing alot of night riding, many guys spray a flexible flat black paint. No need to do the whole fender...

If anyone has work off either of these days this week and wants to ride, I'd be down for some 5 Mile in the morning and into the afternoon. However, I destroyed my phone the other day and my new one hasn't arrived yet, but I'll be watching for responses.

Why the change? You had that CRF looking real nice, and it was setup to be plated. Are you wanting a lighter, off-road only bike this time around?

Did you guys ride to the north of the parking area only, or were you able to ride some of the stuff to the south?

Thanks Greg! Not sure how incredible it is though... I'm no stellar rider, but I try real hard. Ya know, I'd bet there are a several people on RME that would have done great at this race, especially you.

Yeah, that was kinda weird. After getting the checkered flag after loop #3 I figured that they decided to cut us off in order to get the truck/buggy race goin'. It's all good, I didn't mind an extra few minutes in the pits. :)

I just copy/pasted this from another site... "I had more fun at this race than any I remember! The new bike worked awesome, with the exception of riding the last 20 or so miles of loop #4 on a flat rear tire. Having that said, any problems I had were all rider errors, and a few were pretty...

The time is not set in stone, and not really too important. I'm gonna shoot for 8:30 to 9:00-ish, but will either be around the truck in the main parking area or will check back often for any late comers. As far as routes go, a wide variety of places are available and I'm fine with going...

Should be good weather with little dust. If interested, plan on a fairly quick pace and a good workout.
