    Maybe you should look into purchasing an aftermarket warranty specifically for the engine. then take it in for the oil leak. with only 89K miles you should be able to get a warranty.

    looks like a massive oil leak from the passenger side of the engine. I'll see what I can figure out.

    99% of the time its from the top of the motor. and the motors don't go bad unless you've overboosted it and blown headgaskets. bad tuners do that. I'll bring my truck so you can feel what a 95% good running truck is like. My AC broke and I still need to replace the lines. LOL

    Unhook the Glow plug box on the front of the passenger side rocker cover. that should help it spin over a little faster and not drain power from the batteries as you are cranking it.

    I would do a starter. Mine cranks over pretty quick. I also have two interstate batteries from Costco in mine. The battery on the passenger side is the one that is supposed to be hooked to the starter if I remember right. My cables were pretty corroded. I had to clean them with baking soda...

    pro tip on the surpentine belt. watch this. there is a lock to hold the tensioner in place to take off the belt. it makes it 100000000000000000 X's easier to put the belt back on. Trust me, I had to replace the alternator 3 times in one week because O'Reilly kept giving me crap alternators...

    $5K is about what I would do. How many miles? My 6.0 Is running pretty good now. 195K miles. I think I've finally sorted it out. Mine is a Crewcab, Lariet, 4x4 F350 Longbed You could probably just fix the motor unless the engine bearings are bad. I have a lot of experience with this...

    Considering a 2006 F350 Crew Cab

    Spent some time 4 wheeling in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. Wheeling a 1 ton truck is not something i recommend. i think i need a new spleen.
