It's a 2hp 2x72" belt grinder with a VFD speed controller. You can swap a 10" flat platen, 20" sun wheel or 2"/1" contact wheels for detail work.
Brackets, tabs , knives tube work etc. Super versatile.
I just wanted to share my new favorite tool.
Kant Twist clamps.
Better than c-clamps because it doesn't twist the material and deeper throat.
The jaws have cuts on one side to clamp round or odd shape material.
Copper threads/ blocks so weld spatter doesn't stick.
And they clamp way harder...
I would probably tap that hole and thread a bolt into it with RTV then cut the head off. Or if you want to bring it down to me I'd be happy to weld it up for you.
I've helped installed a rad design aw4 shift controller on a friend's XJ a LOoONG time ago. I can't say anything about the triple shift setup but I didn't mind having my rear case shift further back in our stock mod 85 4runner. It was easy to leave the front case in low and just shift the rear...
