    SAMI's Xterra "Stalker"

It really is amazing to not have the cargo door resting on your head or shoulder. You wouldn't know, you drive a 4x4 mini.. I haven't. I've not had too much of an issue with the COrbra right out of the box. Is it worth getting it tuned?

    SAMI's Xterra "Stalker"

Finally got around to replacing the rear gas struts for the rear cargo door. McMaster-Carr replacement struts @ $16 a piece.. World of difference! Before - Photo taken @ 34 degrees (anything below 32* and it was lucky to reach half that high) After - Photo taken @ 22 degrees

Recommendation for a good vacuum; Dyson?

I'm looking at buying a Dyson DC17 for animal fur/dander control. We now have the two dogs, and keeping the house clean is a must when both my wife and I have some degree of allergies. I found a place in Ogden that sells the Dysons for $235-250, refurbed w/ factory warranty, but I'm curious if...

    4x4 Related Christmas Presents?

Well now, I can't divulge the secrets here.. :eek2: Actually Billy Madison popped into mind as I was writing and I remember he listed some sort of golf club, ice cubes, and even a buffalo; stuffed, for safety's sake. :)

I'd imagine that they gave her a few minutes to regain her composure.

    Right in the kisser

Absolutely a melon. If you watch the initial impact to her face about 10 times in rapid succession, you will see the entire melon in motion. Also, note that when the camera cuts to the view from behind the armored knight guy, you can see melon chunks flying from the chicks head. That was a melon...

    Lost offroaders in draper.

It's all about being prepared. I simply stated, if you reread my post, that more vehicles most likely would not have prevented such an event. More in the party may have been able to get help there sooner; but that may have been in vain. As you stated, with little information we don't know the...

    Lost offroaders in draper.

While this is a very unfortunate incident, I do not agree with your comment above. Having a second, third, or 10 other vehicles most likely wouldn't have prevented this from happening. They went out ill prepared, and paid the ultimate for it. Sad, yes.

Toyota 22re? Not as cool as people say?

The dude who picked up my cruiser drove it to Washington state... 1974, original motor.

Toyota 22re? Not as cool as people say?

It's easily arguable that the 3vzfe is a high maintenance motor when compared to the 22re. At the time of release of the 3.0 (in hindsight) not a hole lot of 'pros' come with the 3.0 over the 22re, but have several 'cons' that don't seem to be worth the headache. Yes, you can overheat any motor...

Toyota 22re? Not as cool as people say?

The 22RE was not designed to push 38" tires sideways with the suspension bound up, while trying to lug 4 super sticky tires up a rock face, with 200k on the clock. I agree that in most cases it's probably age coupled with the current use/abuse/demand of these engines once the truck gets built...

    Shotguns; Mossberg 500

I would but, I really feel the need to replace the scatter gun, and I have little desire to tacticool it this time.. A light, which I have and that's it. No need for all the other stuff. KISS.. That way I have some wiggle room to collect AR parts and still play with the shotty when out in the...

    Shotguns; Mossberg 500

I had the ATI heatshield with ghost ring sights on my last 870, and it had some movement up until I mounted my light. The light mounted on the ext tube and I made sure to mount it tight against the heat shield to prevent it from shifting. It helped some, but didn't fix it 100%. I agree that ATI...

    Shotguns; Mossberg 500

I was looking at shotguns this last week at Galensons and Doug's.. I'm shotgun hungry again. I looked at tme Maverick 88, and was pleasantly surprised that the safety is on the trigger gaurd, unlike it's fraternal twin tge Mossy 500. I'm thinkin that for around $300 for some gun purchases, the...
