I agree! One of my favorite parts of my northern Manitoba trips each winter. One great memories this year was laying in my sleeping bag going to sleep (finally, about 4 am), with the cabin completely to myself, 100 miles from the nearest town and watching the aurora out the window!

We have used our Springbar a lot at Lake Powell, and often not able to place all the stakes in the rocky ground. Setting heavy rocks in side in place of the missing stakes has worked very well (although results is more dirt to sweep out at the end of the week.)

We have far more public land open to hunting, shed collecting etc than most states, by far! Its just a lot of the best hunting is on private land. I appreciate the CWMU program that makes the land available for hunters, if you are lucky enough to draw a tag, free of charge.
