    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

I probably will at least a little bit. But I've also got an idea to turn the battery and run the fuse box in between the battery and the engine. Just to tight everything up to the firewall. Well it was @Hickey idea so I can't take full credit.

    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

I've been on the fence about doing the inner fender. First because I don't want to spend another $300. Second because I love how roomy it is without them... but it would make it much easier to mount things.

Here is how it sits currently. I'll have to do some touch up to the hood to get it to sit perfect, and I still need to mount the battery, Fusebox, and Evap Canister. But I am super happy with the look!

Also managed to almost perfect paint match the fender inserts to the wheels. Mixed two of the closest colors I could find and it worked great!

    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

The next headache is figuring out how to mount the battery and the fuse box... I may just build a new little bracket for the fuse box. But I'm unsure on how to tie down the battery...

    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

Got the Passenger side fender and battery support put on! I love it! Little finicky to get the holes to line up either from the Grill bend not being done perfect, or my grill just being straight anymore... which is very likely.

    TJ Highline Project Do's & Don'ts

Installed the THOR air intake and it was pretty annoying to get the hole cut clean. Lots of wiring and junk in the way. I was dumb and didn't take pictures of the process. Very simple overall, just a really annoying hole to cut if you don't have a fancy tool. Combination of Sawzall, Cutoff...

    Happy Valentines Day!

I'm pretty sure the gas tank in mine is more SeaFoam than gas at this point.... does that mean I'm treating her really fancy like?

Shop / Tools Opportunity to learn/experience welding... Episode 1

The inner shield really relies on that drag motion and keeping the arc in the puddle. It's also the reason that it is most commonly ran with the DCEN polarity. Focuses the heat in the puddle instead of in the wire. I hear people complain about self shielded flux all the time until they actually...

Shop / Tools Opportunity to learn/experience welding... Episode 1

Main perk of Self Shielded Flux Core is not needing gas. So if you don't have the gas and/or are in a windy area it is the best option besides Stick. It will also be less finicky about you having proper stick out. Otherwise Gas Shielded is going to be cleaner and easier to weld. Generally with...

I love it! The only times I've ever wished I had more was when I'm pulling up the canyons. I pull a lot of trailers for one of my jobs and it handles it very well.

    Funny, personal story...

When I was about 15 I was in the basement watching tv and I heard yelling upstairs. I had 6 siblings/stepsiblings all within a few years of each other so yelling in the house was nothing new. I thought nothing of it. My older step brother(16), who is an idiot (That's important and will come up...
