I cut the simple round tube nerf bar thingamajigs off of mine that you can have if you want. I tried to cut them real close to the frame so dimensionally they should still work. very similar to what you've got but you could maybe tuck them in a bit tighter.

I agree with this. The Lincoln is also much heavier, which for the hobbyist isn't super noticable, but if you're wearing it for awhile it definitely wears at your neck.

And here is the hood pins I used. Forgot to take an inside the engine bay pic but you get the idea. There are two very conveniently located holes in the top of the grill sheet metal that fit the bolts for the hood pins almost exactly. So that easily decided where I wanted them to be.
