Let's see your old school rig!

I've spent more than my share of time tugging on that strap. I don't miss it one little bit. I think I hold some kind of record for the number of times Bart could flip his buggy in one day. He probably would have taken it better had I not been laughing my ass off each time he did...

Yes, nothing major, just a sad commentary. How could a state, with some of the best off roading in the country, have such restrictive vehicle laws? It's sad, and we'll never be able to change it now that the law enforcement folks have realized it's a huge cash cow for them.

Every one of those would be required to have mudflaps, and the further down the list you go on those Jeeps, the more illegal they become.

For the record, Team Fred rocks! :) They don't have to run in the unlimited class, but they choose to for the added challenge. Now, where's that damn "Like" button?

Is it just me who finds it a sad commentary on our "pretty great state", that none of these rigs would be street legal here? :(

Oh, I see now. So you're saying that a Toyota geared at 80:1 will wheel twice as good as my Rubicon with it's wimpy 46ish to 1 ratio? I'll stand by my original statement. I believe you'll find having the correct axle gear ratio is far more beneficial on the street than it is on the trail.

Gearing is only a huge issue on the Toyota due to it's total lack of anything resembling horse power. ;)

I believe you guys are talking about Dump Bump. That place was like crack to Toyota guys. Too bad it's off limits now. Along those same lines, I could never get my 4 Runner over Widowmaker, where as my Jeeps always made it. Doesn't mean Toyota's are garbage. When you're comparing rigs...
