As far as the issue of legislative bill vs UHP manual, what they do is common and really they way the process is meant to go. The legislature does not (thankfully) attempt to put into statute every little detail. The basic out-line is in the legislation and the responsible agency or board...

I am all for a winter/northern adventure, but really do not see the point of what they are trying to do, or see any real way they will accomplish their goal. Lets hope they prove me wrong!

I'd love to go after them with hounds, for both the work with the dogs and to get photos. Only reason I think I would shoot one is knowing the effect they have on deer populations (although I hear they taste pretty good.) A couple of summers ago we found track in our back yard.

The H2 is a pointless rig, in my opinion. H1s are cool, but unrealistic. The H3 and H3T are cool, and I am sad to see them go. Like was said, the loss of any 4x4 company is a loss. Very few factory vehicles with lockers etc out there, and pressure from one company will make others better.

Kind of makes you wonder if it was stolen....someone going around to shops trying to sell it, then it ends up off the side of a trail. Those first involved should still consider touching base with the cops and see if it was stolen.

That seems to be the only thing I accomplish when I ice fish! Sounds like a fun trip, and the macs you caught are by far the best size for eating.

That surprises me that they would fit...car seats take up a lot of room for the size of kids they hold!

Sami touches on a great point: long wheel base for practical purposes lessens clearance. I would not liked doing in significant off-road in my Yukon XL (although I agree the ride and room where nice.) My Montero Sport has clearance to the pumkin of about 10-11" (on 33s) with belly obviously...

I have ridden with a friend in his, and was surprised at the comfort of the back seat. For the kids, obviously 4 doors are easier to get in and out of, but it wasn't bad. If it could seat 5, I would love to have one.

But you actually acted on it. I just think, wish and dream. Your approach is much better. Hope it treats you well.
