Like Marc, I steer clear of anything Mopar. Judging by the scale against the quarter, way too small to be anything cam related. I've seen some umbrella type valve seals use a similar locking devise, but they appear a bit large for that. If it turns out to be something like that, there's about 9...

Follow the distributor wires and see if they go to a silver box on the inner fender. That would be the control module. If it's there, I'd wager that's the cause. Looks expensive, but it's like $26 at Vatozone.

Well, it may have to be addressed in the future but for now I really don't see it as an advantage. While you may gain a small bit of course knowlege, I think you're losing in exhaustion by the end of the day.

Like I said, as long as you can do it without holding up the others.
