    Northern tool welders?

Reconditioned = Used. If you want used, check KSL and get a better machine for half that. For that kind of money, go to Airgas, and get a new "Name" brand machine.

    "beware of 'the Tacoma effect'"

Never trust an ex-con, he told me the ankle bracelette would blow his foot off if he left the yard. Sure nuff, he shows up at MMP with both feet still attached...

    Compressed air lines in shop

You can use Oyy/Acetylene, but you don't need to. A hand held propane torch will work just fine. If you want, I have everything here you could use. (Oh, I have the cutters and threaders for steel too, if you decide to go that route)

Go soldered joints, it's mucho cheaper and will last forever.

    Compressed air lines in shop

I'd go soldered copper, which is what I did. The big drawback to steel piping is the time involved with cutting and threading, not to mention the chance of rust. Oh, and I'd NEVER use any plastic inside a finished wall.

Where to get angled lift blocks?

If you're thinking of adding a 1" tapered block to your exsisting 3" block, good luck with safety inspections. Stacking blocks is a no-no..

    Hey Bart!

Well, now your B day is over, I can be mean to you again.... Jackson is sweet right now, you don't know what you're missing! About 80 and sunny, and a perfect ride here as icing on the cake. I'll report tomorrow from Montana, just to rub it in....... :D

    60 steering help

Toe in seems a bit much, depending on your tire diameter. Your shims should probly be fat side to the rear. I'd ditch em first, and see if that helps. Then maybe install them so as to roll the pinion up if ditching them doesn't help a ton.
