    Our yard remodel

I am proud to say I am finally Quakie-less. I loved em, for the first couple years, then the fun starts. Off shoots coming up everywhere, roots poking up through the lawn. All I'll say about them is good riddance! I've got a couple trees here that I really like. One is a Locust (something like...

    Death Wobble Ram 2500

Three guys here at work have had the same issue. Two were repaired for free, under warranty. The third guy, just yesterday, shelled out $800 for the repairs at 36,400 miles. I told him about the TSB on it, and he's trying to get his money back now. I wished him luck, dealing with LHM.

    Another "the build started"

Glad to see the old gal come back to life. Like mbryson said, yes they're machined for an individual axle, but I wouldn't really worry about them not working. You'll be fine.

Questions on Converting Street Legal Dune Buggy into Crawler

The guys I know with those don't drive them on the road anymore, mainly because the bumper issue won't pass safety. I won't say you can't get it passed, but you'll be going through all the motions anyone of us here have to do. The tire issue wouldn't come into play untill you lift it, which...

Questions on Converting Street Legal Dune Buggy into Crawler

So far, I've yet to see anything here that would be "street legal" in this state. Yeah, it could be done, but not easily. All the problems we have now with tire coverage and bumper widths would apply to a buggy as well.

Thankfully, your source is not reliable: "08/17/10: Jim Kirk is out of the Hospital and on the Salt. He is wearing a back and neck brace. Jim is very grateful to the Emergency Response Team who took care of his every need after the incident. The EMLA also responded with cash."

    Ethanol in gas = lame.

Not incorrect, just a bit premature. I think we'll see the time soon when all gasoline will contain ethanol. And for the diesel owners pounding thier chests, you might want to research E-Diesel. Coming soon to a station near you and if you think fuel is expensive now, just wait...

    Ethanol in gas = lame.

The 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), mandates that oil refineries blend their gasoline products with up to 10% ethanol. This is a federal act. Utah is not mandating the use of ethanol in its gasoline. Under Utah law, any station that sells gasoline blended with ethanol, MUST...

    RC crawlers?

I went with the Axial AX-10 because they're fairly cheap, and parts are everywhere. I'm into mine about $250 for everything. Look around Ebay and you can find some decent deals on kits.

If you miss this one, you can always catch next month's event. The dates are Sept 15 -18, if I remember right. Not quite as large of turn out as Speedweek, but still a blast to watch. http://www.saltflats.com/index.html
