    Measuring axle position

Pretty easy to measure your caster (or more accurately, mimic the current caster angle) by placing a magnetic angle guage on the flat of the knuckle (you might need to use the flat of the lower bj) and keep it the same. I'll bet you're at -5 or -5.5* (with 35s right?). Consider with that...

    Measuring axle position

I'd mimic what Tim said. Start by measuring your wheelbase on each side. Then measure the distance from hub centerline to the LCA and UCA boot holes on the frame. Ideally adjustable uppers and lowers would let you adjust the wheelbase while keeping that optimum caster angle.

    Jeeper's 2005 Colorado

Can I make a confession? I once drilled a fuel tank to drain it. It was a 35 gallon Ford tank, can you blame me? Used a factory style compression squeeze plug thingy (they're on Hondas) to fix it.

Eagle One Mag wheel cleaner and a little scotchbrite will clean those dirty aluminum intake runners and water necks bright and shiny as new.

    Adventure Bike

I did buy a 1 gallon rotopax and mount from Rocky Mountain. I'm hoping it shows up soon. I'm sure I'll be able to use it somewhere later on. That's a cool idea with the Dromedary, I wonder how you'd pour fuel out of that?

    My new 2019 Ford F250 6.2 Gasser review/info...

I dig it. Pretty much the cool/ newer version of my truck. I'm sure the lower 1st and slightly lower 5th and 6th make it nice with 4.30s. mine has 3.73s and it gets similar mileage (14+ combined over 35k miles) with the normal torqueshift 6 speed. Brian's gets only slightly worse than me with...

Camel back bladders are only 2L and I'd be concerned the plastic would dissolve with gas. Maybe I'll give one a test run tomorrow.

I feel like there was someone else that sold those too. But for sure that's a more elegant solution.

I need about a gallon of fuel. I'm running right there at 48mpg jamming pretty quick and my range is just about 150 miles now. Has anyone got a small rotopack I can buy/ borrow steal?

Dirtbike for the wife: build thread

Well my brother-in-law was riding my wife's bike learning how to ride and it stopped running. It turns out the cam sprocket bolt had loosened up and the finger on the sprocket (that holds it in place) broke off and so the timing chain was spinning without turning the cam. I bought a whole other...

    Aluminium Welding

Valve covers and oil pans suck. Anything oil soaked is pretty impossible- especially cast aluminum. I can give it a go but you'll need to burn out all the oil with a torch.
