I looked into them a little when I was looking at a burb with one. There is a little you can do to them, but never going to get much more power than a small block. I heard of pump problems to. They can be turbo'd but I was told not to do it on a high milage engine. The only real pro's I saw were...

Slip yoke eliminator....for the tcase. Allows for a longer driveline with a cv joint in it. A low pinion 9" is not even an option with the hieght and angle of the driveline you will have with your set up. The low pinion 44 is even pushing it.

I have driven both mass air and SD cars. The SD motors seem to hold the rppm's up high and come down reall slow when you burp the throttle. To me this is enough to do Mass Air. A bouncing foot on the throttle could create a problem with the SD. Depending on Bart, I vote for Vbelts. Custom...

Just wondering....I assume you need cards for the recievers, and/or codes via phone line for them to work???? Reason I ask, NPS has receivers and there is a dish on our house....

The convertable mustang one that was just on was sort of funny.

I kinda like the Tibus design, just wish Tera had not got involved. It still uses a shift fork and ugly cover setup. It would not be a huge problem to switch it to a cable or eletric solinode. I say wait and see how they all hold up before you buy any of them....

A low pinion 44 in the rear is going to create drivlines angle problems with a spring over +1.5". A SYE is a must and you still may have issues.
