Do 4x2 Toyota truck utilize the same frame as their 4x4 counterparts? I found a wrecked 4x2 Tacoma... So i'm curious if the 4x2's will broaden my search.

The thing about SOA and spring hieghts, is that you gotta factor in the added hieght(lift) from putting the springs over the axle. Roughly 4"s for the SOA alone, then say 3" springs.. That would be approx a 7" lift.. To do a SOA and use 6" springs would put you at approx 10"s of lift. I wonder...

I bet people laugh at it.. That is, if your buddy truly has 6" leaf springs and a SOA.. Is his rig SAS'd? That'd look pretty ridiculous, and serve no purpose.

^ not sure how I missed that. Lewis brings up a good point. I ran 3" springs on my 85 4runner(sprung over) and had plenty of room for 37" tires.

Wow, that's a good amount of miles.. That truck has been around. Check the front of the motor for a tag with a date depicting whenyhe last time the timing belt was replaced.. By that many miles it probably should've had the belt replaced 3 times to keep up with PM. It's a great motor...

Besides that, you wouldn't exactly have to be in one spot for a decade.. There might be a few major zombie waves to begin with, but as time goes on the disease would become less of a threat.. I'd say a few months being the critical time to isolate yourself from the outside.. Let things cool off...
