Nope....not sure what, some older ones may be 28spline, but every truck I have seen is 31 spline....even a '62 unibody 2wd I had..... Some 6 cyl cars and early Bronco's had 28 splines.

No...sort of. Most EB's used 260 (dana 30) joints. 76-77 should hae 297's/760's. Which are what most 44's use.... There are several places to get shafts that take the bigger joint.
