How to Season a Pie Iron

I already have two, and so long as you use them in an appropriate manner, I expect them to last through six generations of my large headed kin....all who suffer from strange and unexplainable memory loss with age.

How to Season a Pie Iron

I like to prepare my food, not my food prepping device. Aluminum it is.

Thoughts on snow removal and steep driveways

For the right price they'd probably do it barefoot.

where can I buy BG 44k for under $20?

I was thinking the same thing. I've never even heard of the stuff and I'm confident I could find a local source for it in less than 135 seconds.

Happy Birthday to all my fellow 11-14's

I spend a good deal of energy trying to deter people from knowing when my birthday is. I guess I don't have the requisite vanity to desire such attention.

how many miles are too many?

I wouldn't buy a vehicle like that with that many miles and feel very confident in it's ability to reliably get me to and fro on longer trips. Just too much wear and tear.

    4DR JK + 12V cummins + Dana 60/70 Portals + 46" Tires

Ha ha, the pictures with people next to it make it look even more stupid. Sometimes just because there are a bunch of expensive and cool things you can do to a rig, doesn't mean they should all be done at the same time. Diesel motor, cool. Portals, cool. Big tires, cool. All three together...

Which one would you buy and why?

A selectable up front would help, but it does have hubs so you don't always have to be locked in up front. I used to run with just one hub locked up front until I needed all 4 tires. You can also add hydro assist, and the steering box is already ported and ready to go for that.

Which one would you buy and why?

I've had 4 grand cherokees and I've never had any more problems with them as I have with any of the other vehicles i've owned. Considering what I've put them through, I think they are pretty reliable vehicles. I'm planning on picking up a Tacoma here as soon as the bank's find me to be less of...

Which one would you buy and why?

It's passionate plum. If the choice is between my old ZJ and that green one, then no offense to that green one but it's not even a choice. Eric's ZJ (my old ZJ) has a long list of really nice parts and is put together well. It has little quirks here and there that need to be sorted out, but...

Coolness vs Warranty: story by JL Rockies

Having worked in consumer electronics for a long time, I can appreciate the value of extended warranties on certain products, and I think they are a waste of money on others. One thing is for certain, even though most people don't use them, they sure can be nice when you do. I've been...

Coolness vs Warranty: story by JL Rockies

I would also be chagrined if they denied my claim...especially if the dealer sold the vehicle with the warranty equipped as is. At the very least the dealership should refund the cost of the extended warranty that wasn't going to be valid in the first place.
