IMO, milage is apples to oranges when different makes and models are being compaired. For instance, 100k on a Toyota 3.4 is equivenlant to 55k miles on a Jeep 4.0. Flame on people ;)

I'd try to get either vehicle into a trusted mechanic (for anything Toyota I go to Divinity Auto - Used to be 'The Toy Store') and have them look it over. Most places have a pre-sale checklist to make sure that all systems are evaluated.
