where to get a shaft in Moab?

The specific sales concept in question here is time utility, but you could probably break it down to a simple economic concept called supply and demand as well. It's pretty much the most basic law of sales lol. Right. The shop doesn't stock the shafts all year long, they would have to make...

where to get a shaft in Moab?

besides, there are ways around inventory carrying costs for seasonal shops--especially ones that see a massive increase in business during a 10 day period of time. If I were Yukon I'd be crawling all over the chance to load M40 up with all sorts of inventory to be sold at a slight markup from...

    Ham radio guys

In the spirit of Easter, I shall resurrect this thread Sami/Kurt, do you have the book handy that I can borrow? I' d like to throw in a HAM sometime this summer so I ought to get the paperwork done. Does it cost money to get tested/licensed?

Archived prichet canyon chewy hill roll

Regardless of whether or not it's a word, you used it incorrectly. For example; "Irregardless of whether or not it's a word, you used it incorrectly" Now that just doesn't make any sense now does it (and that's not including the obvious slight towards correct sentence structure)? The word...

    My Moab Easter weekend

Pretty random--you don't see many built ZJ's on the road, especially at the same time. If you like the ZJ convoy, you ought to make it to GSW...something cool about a group of 20+ built grands convoying out to a trail at once....or the banquet parking lot when it's full of 40-50 of them. Too...

    MOAB area condo

I've always used Cedar Breaks. It's off the main drag and we've had 3 different truck/trailers and 3 rigs at once and never had problems. http://www.moabutahlodging.com/pages/cedar.htm

Wearing a spare as a tophat?

The Thule snowboard rack I had on my old S15 made a 2mpg difference in mileage. It also had the fairing to help deflect wind over the snowboard holders. Took it off every summer, back on in the winter. I suppose the colder air or something could have also had an effect, but I haven't noticed...

    Moab Rim

It's not that bad if you know what you're doing, but it is unnerving to some people (the whole, leaning offcamber towards a cliff edge while descending awkward ledges thing). I've lead a few groups of grand cherokees up there over the years and we've always been ok, but on a pre-run one of the...

Wearing a spare as a tophat?

For long distance road driving I would definately use a spare and probably put it outside somewhere. I would put it on a bumper mount personally, but if that isn't an option then the roof it is. but man, having that big bastard up there collecting wind on the freeway will probably drop your...

Wearing a spare as a tophat?

In Moab I always kept my spare on the trailer and carried a plug kit with me. On the long distance stuff I do, I always carry a spare in the rear cargo area (35"). I would NEVER put it on the roof for the following reasons (especially for hard trails--I can at least see an argument for an...
