    LJ stretch

Talk about non conventional method. Creative way to get around the shock issue. The 'regular' stretch was one of the easiest and best mods I did on the LJ, you're going to love it!

    Wanted WTB 4 point harness.

I never competed, but would take the corbeau camlock over the latch style anyday. I hated putting the latch style one together in the correct order every time, HATED. With the camlock ones you just click them in, order doesn't matter and twist to release.

    Jeep science fair project question

They took high honors at District and are headed to state. They actually beat the second and third place winners from their school at district. The only projects that did better were 9th graders who are in a different division at state.

Best tent option for the Rubicon trail?

I think it would depend on if you ran the sluices or not. If you bypassed them you'd be fine, remember Jeep takes stock rubicons on it every year bypassing the nasty stuff.

Best tent option for the Rubicon trail?

Depends, are you hauling the tent or do you have a pack mule (hummer) going? One issue with canvas on fordyce is youll want to pack it up high so it doesnt get wet. Id grab a little dome tent. An RTT on Fordyce could get interesting too, its a hard trail where flops and rolls are the norm.

    Let talk $$$

I'm right there with you Cody. We should swap war stories sometime. Im a three-peat entrepreneur with most everything sunk in the current business. Go big or go broke. I do keep some 'liquid' assets (hence the post) for emergencies and those often long stretches between real paychecks.

    New Tent Options?

I use them all. I have a kirkham wall tent 12x14 that only gets used if we will be in the same spot for multiple nights and need the stove. I also have a springbar 10x10 and a turbotent 10x10. Honestly since I got the turbo tent I have only used the springbar when I need two tents (whole family)...
