Central Utah February RME Trail Run - Little Sahara Dunes

I have a proposition if Greg is ok with it. I'm thinking of combining this with a scout camp. We could provide breakfast for everyone (omlets, burritos or such) just need a head count. Would anyone be willing to share a seat with a scout for a few hours? I can take 4, and will probably have...

Central Utah February RME Trail Run - Little Sahara Dunes

Desert roads and trail society and UPLA had a bunch of extra spill kits from the winter4x4jamboree.com. I'll bring a big sack of them to the sand dunes run to pass out! If you're going ro be there grab one or two to throw in your rigs.

Took the scouts there a few months ago- it screams up sand mountain. The kids thought it was hilarious to pass the 4wheelers.

Looking to meet Jeep Buddies in Utah County

    General Tech Tank sealer questions

So when my tank was made they sealed it with red kote. However it didn't adhere in most places in the tank. Its a steel tank. Clearly needs redone but wondering if this is a common issue with red kote, obviously the prep was lacking, or if caswell or something else is better? Now the fun of...

Jeep Project: Build a JKU to the same specs as my LJ

During the test runs it became evident that the brakes sucked! After looking at every option I happened upon the Jeep Wrangler J8 military JK. The J8 runs bigger axles, brakes and has a higher payload. Bought the parts which include the master cylinder and brake booster. The only issue with this...

Jeep Project: Build a JKU to the same specs as my LJ

Ok aside from the steering the tank was a huge nemesis!! 38 gallons by volume, it'll hold 34ish once you account for the 10% expansion volume. Its a good thing too because this hemi manual is thirsty. these are the build pics. I'll post finished ones at the end. We were able to cut apart the...
