    Record Snow pack, floods next?

Water use in the structure goes up, but overall water use goes down. Those lawns use way more water than condos, it’s not even close

    100 Pushups

This morning I ran three miles, did a set of 50 pushups, and a set of 20 pull-ups. Not sure I’ll be hitting 7,000 push-ups anytime soon, but as long as I can run, climb, and shove, I’ll be ready for when SHTF. Also, maybe not feel so terrible about being in my 40’s 👴⌛📉💀⚰️

What vehicles to avoid buying, teenager style.

I drove a 2000 Corolla for 225k trouble free miles through the first 10 years of marriage. And it spent its first 50k miles as a missionary car, so you know it was rode hard and put away wet. Thing was gutless but drove like new until we sold it to my brother who drove through some deep water...

    Political So now what

Pretty sure Stephen was making an observation on the DNC’s thinking, rather than cheering on Biden

    Political So now what

The system is crazy. Biden and Trump are inevitable. Democrats don’t want Biden, and Republicans don’t want Trump, but nobody is strong enough to stop either of them, so the voters are left with yet another Sophie’s choice between a gibberish corpse propped up by the socialists, and a...

    Record Snow pack, floods next?

There’s no retaining wall on the market that would stop a land-sliding house. It’s 100% filling in a ravine with dirt and putting houses on top that’s the issue. They used “engineered fill”, but it’s very clearly not the same as native stabilized soil.

What vehicles to avoid buying, teenager style.

Honda crv’s and rav4’s are awesome high school cars. I had a 2001 Silverado, standard cab long bed 4x4 ready to go for my 16 yo daughter, but it was too long for her to figure out how to park, bless her heart. But those 99-03 gm trucks seem to go forever and they can be had cheap. Prolly get one...

    Jeep JKU Build/Advice

I’m no expert when it comes to fabrication and serious off road builds, but I AM a world expert at losing money on vehicles, so I am comfortable sharing what expertise I have. If you don’t have the skills for v8 swaps or 1-ton axle swaps, then you need to be fine with low power/performance or...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I will also be planting northern red oaks at my place. One of my faves, if the soil pH isn’t too high.

    Best tire shop?

Report: @Coco took great care of me on getting a new set of tires for my tundra. Very knowledgeable, price was better than Les Schwab, and they handed me a loaner vehicle so I could get about my day. 10/10 would recommend Point S in American Fork. Thanks Colton!

    Best tire shop?

Looking to buy a new set for my truck today. Les Schwab is where I’ve been going for years, but their prices seem to be outrageous for everything. Where is everyone going for tires?

    Stephen's 2017 Nissan Patrol err… Armada

My buddy told me that ARB was only available for the front diff, the rear he would have to swap in a titan axle. Zero independent verification of that info, but he’s typically pretty knowledgeable about his rigs as he builds them.

    Badass granny NSFW language

Ok well…taking away the threat of walking home is everything wrong with America. Didn’t realize we had come that far, we’re probably screwed.
