We'll be there !! had to much fun last year.I won a few dollars and a trophy and it only cost me $2000.00 to fix the jeep after the festivities. wouldn't miss for the world.
 Not laughing at you; I'm laughing WITH you. ...Just remembering everything we both went through after last years.... I still don't have all of the mud out of my Jeep.... :D

This year I'm taking the carpet out!!!!;)

We just need to kwno for sure some how that you will be here. Then we can get you in the program and plan things out. Preregistration is best but not necessary in some cases, and yes Wayne you are one of the SPECAIL  cases.
I just realized the second is on a Friday, I may not be able to be there... What will I miss? And if it's the same type of thing as last year, could I make up what I miss on Friday, during Saturday's event?

I will, without question, be there for Saturday...:D

Its just one day now, sat June 3rd. We blew Friday off for several reasons.
Sweet! Then I'll be there for the whole thing! lol

I'm guessing that since it's earlier in the year, that the fair won't be running at the same time? Will you guys be doing more to get more people to spectate? ....Not that I know what needs to be done, or what you did last year, but the stands were pretty bare. Not that it changed my fun level any :D

Last year was bad for several reasons beyond our control. 1 UROC ran that same day, 2 monster trucks ran that same day, 3 us 6 blew up and shut down the main road into town, 4 the heat was terrible. This year we moved it to cooler temps, and researched for any events that may conflict. We are now looking at advertising but with a small budget that's tuff.

It sounds like fun to watch, I'll think I'll be there. But I can see wayne break parts all day long here without going to price:rofl:

That's true.. I forgot about all of the 'other influences'.... Either way, I had a blast last year and I'm sure I'll have just as much fun this year and it won't matter if there are 5 or 500 people in the stands.... Granted, having them yelling is big motivation....To try something stupid :D

Now is it like a top truck challenge type of competetion, or is it just events to see who does the best. I saw pictures of the tug o war etc, and I don't think my rig is up to that. I wouldn't mind trying a couple of events

Now let me clear up a couple of questions I have. Doe
Code:
s a team consist of more then one rig or just you and a spotter. Sinch I have a samurai buggy, that pushes me into the unlimited type class, which is fine. But it doesn't make sense for me to strap my 2500 pound rig and 1.3 liters to a 5000 pond rig with a big block. Would I just forfeit? And how much is the entry?

UROC is this same weekend again in SLC.
Sounds like a fun event though!

A team is 1 driver, 1 spot-er, and 1 rig. This year the tug of war has been replaced with a weighted pull. You probably still wont do well in this one event, but most of the rigs in your class aren't built to pull and you will get some point just by trying. Then turn around and shine on the next course. The entry fee is only $50.

We announced our date clear back in December after we reached for any other similar events on that date. This was all done to avoid conflict, but none the less UROC was just one of many problems we had to face last year and I m still confident in a good turn out.

You would be surprised how your rig would do... It's pretty fair, because both of you are in a mud hole. So it's not really dependent on wieght, but more of your ability, tire, etc. Granted, weight does help, but... There was a guy last year in the pull with a Geo Metro. You can't tell me you would forfiet then.... But like Scott said, even if you don't do well, just showing and doing your best will get you points, and at the end of the day the person with the most points wins. Last year I don't think one person did the best in every thing they tried, not buggies or street class.

scott,
can we start a list of possible spotters?? I would probably be in need of a volunteer spotter. Anyone? anyone? I am trying to get several guys from reno to come compete to. if they do can we spot for each other? meaning.... I run he spots and then vise versa.

Yes to all. You may run into problems if you both need to run at the same time, but there are no rules against it.
