King Challenge 2x a year?

OUCH!!! It would be awesome to do the challenge 2x a year, but I, (and I know most of those who help with the event) am exhausted after 1 event a year. There is a ton of planning and scouting for sponsors, and coordinating extraction equipment, and advertising, and getting the park ready (actually that is probably the easiest), and getting the volunteers, and stack and stack of paperwork, and the list goes on for 10 pages...

I would think that if a lot of the leg work and paper work could be done months in advance, it may be possible to do two events a year. But realistically, getting the VOLUNTEER help do to such an event just once a year is hard enough.:-\

I'm excited to see the vast amount of positive everyone has been posting. It just makes it that much easer for me to be a part of it. Hope to see everyone again next year!
I hear ya, even as a competitor it's hard work, but we only have to deal with it for one day. I'm sure I speak for everyone, though, when I say all of their hard work is definately appreciated!!!! And that goes for everyone involved, right down to the competitors.

Don’t get me wrong here since this is a great event but there are other clubs around the state that are doing similar events.

Next week is one in Delta and Richfield in August in conjunction with the U4 summer convention. I believe Kanab has one on the 23rd of this month as well.

These events have courses built on their respective county fairgrounds and are what I believe the future of 4x4 competition events.

I hope that the other clubs and counties around the state model their events off of the King Crawler Challenge but we need to support the other clubs and counties around the state as well.

It is a very daunting task to put one of these events on and once a year may all that one club and one county can deal with.

I hope to see everyone in Delta on Saturday.

Notch Peak has asked me for some help with thier event, and I am going to try. It is a very donting task and it has taken us several years to get to this level.

I offer my thanks to each and every one of you that as helped the King 4X4 Challenge to be as fun as it is. From the competitors, spectators, and those that have spent hour slaving away just so we could have this event. Thanks again!

Can I call a redo???

I just put my brothers EDELBROCK carb on the Scout and it is running 100% better. It will actually spin the tires again! My motor is still tired and a big block is going to be swapped in but........I could have done A LOT bettter with a motor that was running. Oh well. Maybe next year

Stupid tractor motor anyways

Its going to be a Ford 460, c6 trans and a stak T case so I can still use my Chevy dana 60. The motor is going to be mildly built. Mainly just a cam.

I thought about a 392 but there is just not enough performance parts and the ones that are out there are rediculasly priced
