A: Correct.
This is the Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer".

Not a Chrysler hemi (spark plugs not in middle of valve cover), not the Chrysler poly motor (spark plugs not at bottom of valve covers).

This was Ford's answer to the Chrysler 426 Hemi. The 427 has hemispherical combustion chambers and a single overhead cam in each head. The dual-quad 427 was rated at 657 HP @ 7500 RPM, 575 ft-lbs @ 4200 RPM!

It was only offered as an over-the-counter option for $2500.
