For Sale - Best Offer 14 Bolt and Chevy Dana 60 Rebuilt with 0 miles

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
A customer of mine has decided to go with smaller axles. He just bought them so you may already have seen them on KSL or where ever in the last few weeks. Fresh rebuild with no miles on them. Built by Six States. 4.88 gears. High steer arms. Front is totally complete. Rear has disc brakes, but need calipers. 90% sure they are both open diffs. Both are rolling on steel wheels and no tires.

He wants $1500 for them or trade for dana 44's of equal value and hopefully 5 on 5.5.

What does he want to put the 44s in? I actually may have a 44 front that could be of equal value to his 60 (CTMs, Detroit, and Superior cromos) but built for my specific application.

It's going in a commando so I was thinking something like a Scout 2 axle would work pretty well. If it's got 5 on 5.5 that's even better. Tell me about your axle.

Not interested in his axles, but I have a narrow big bearing 9" housing with 31 spline 4340 superior shafts. It is probably 60" ish wide wms to wms. And it is 5 on 5.5. No third member though. Ill sell it cheap

Chevy housing cut down to fit a CJ SOA. 59" track if I remember right. Ford hubs and rotors 5 on5.5. Flattops with PartsMike high steer. CTMs, Superior Cromos, Detroit. Probably exactly what you are looking for, however after thinking about it, I think I want to save it for the flat fender I want to build someday. I may be interested in buying the axles for cash though. I'll let you know later this weekend.

Price? Does it have brakes and everything else, minus the third?

I does have brakes. It is complete aside from brake lines and a third member. Make me an offer? I would say it is worth $200 just because of the chromo superior shafts. I sent you a PM with my phone number.

Wasn't really planning an axle swap right now but always thinking about it... now you've done this to me. Here's what I have Dana 60 rear 5 on 5.5, 4.88 Detroit, 35 spline 1.5"dutchman shafts, drum brakes. Front axle; Dana 44, 5 on 5.5, 4.88 Detroit high steer, Alloy USA shafts, disc brakes. The front is a Wagoneer and the rear was a late '60 Ford oddball half ton. Width is right around 61" wms to wms. We may have to talk about this.
