2001 4Runner...how to tell if it has E locker?

Looks like the button is behind one of the stalks on the steering column, but can anyone confirm?

I'm interested in this one.....checking it tomorrow.

For the style of 4Runner I like, I'm not going to find much better than that. '01 is as new as they get in this body.155k on a Toyota isn't really that bad.

I was thinking that as well......but they're 5k more easily than a 4Runner. I'd rather keep the payment as low as possible.

The 01 and 02 4runners didn't come with the elocker. They have the center diff lock button.

2000 was the last year for the elocker in the 3rd gens.

Google is kind of backing that up.....the button we're thinking is for an E locker is most likely a center diff lock button
