220 welder extension cord

But stuck more often.
Splice in a dryer cord to your extension cord if you cant find a plug. Most dryer outlets are 30amp, so that may or may not work well with your welder. I had gijohn40 come to my house and install a 50amp outlet for my welder and a few 120's in my garage. He did a great job and I still owe him for it.

I used a flush mount wall plug on the end of my extension cord, this:

The back is enclosed and it has a cable clamp, I took an RV power cord and put the 220v ends on it to make my extension cord.
Another option is to use a regular 50amp outlet in a metal box clamped on the end of a cable.

I have that but can not for the life of me figure out how the damn clamps work/go on......
