I'm more likely to attend (and provide a free ride down for 3-4 others) later in the month. The 8th is my birthday, so my wife would probably like to spend that day with me as well.

So, I'm still a maybe depending on how the knee surgery (or maybe surgeries, if both knees) go, but the 22-24 weekend gives me better odds of being there.

Jared

I bet your wife is more than willing to let us spank for your birthday so she won't have to

I vote for either weekend that isnt the Mesquite race or the USRA awards banquet. First race is February, is the schedule posted somewhere?

No it's not posted but the first race is 2/7 and the banquet is 1/30. I think the closer we are to the mesquite race the better. It'll be a little warmer and allow us to have some recent seat time. I think the 23rd would be good.

I may be in haul ass riding condition to go for a later date in Jan. Having surgery at the end of Dec just before Christmas.

Put me down for a maybe (30% chance I will go at the moment). I will stay with my parents in New Harmony, and may have 1-2 tag alongs to ride too!

If the group decides to do the 23rd, and destroy the very well planned activities that Derek, some friends, and myself have for that weekend, you better plan on some serious retributions.. The very hand of God may come down and smite....

Either that, or the few people we had in our group will just have to join you all.. and make it a much larger group..

Can you believe the nerve of these people? Inviting themselves out into our riding weekend! They are just lucky we can't keep up with them or else I'd chase them out of there

Im sure you will be able to keep up, we have a wide range of ability, and a wide range of injury from last season.

From reading through this agian it sounds like the 23rd is the best for the majority, Id be cool if we rode both weekends, 9th and the 23rd. Its getting cold around home.

While you you are in the cool weather riding on the weekend of the 9th, I will be sitting on a warm beach in the Dominican Republic drinking something cold.

Well, I'm out. Probably for good.

The orthopedist says I have an inoperable internal rupture in my meniscus and that's he's not able to offer me anything other than anti-inflammatories. Gotta love it when your body only lasts 34 years. Have fun.
