and take the guard off already we all know you're going to do it
I NEVER touch a grinder without gloves on. I won't allow anyone in my garage to do it either.supergper said:I have my gaurd off and honestly it was one of the dumbest thing I have done...I still ahve the gaurd but I wont put it back on...I have nicked my knuckles on the disc so many times its not even funny good buy btw...
Hickey said:I gotta say, I was tempted by the Ryobi model with the "trigger" switch. But I figured Shawn would beat me up.
I figured it couldn't be that great, the expensive one was 39 bucks. I really liked that switch setup though, same as most 7" grinders.supergper said:I would have beat you up if you had gotten the Ryobi...they suck...we tried them at my old shop and we went through three in less than a week, oh and their crappy chop saw in the same week...all were replaced with dewalt or rigid (the rigid chop saw is pretty damn nice)

I just by those cheap leather work gloves in bulk. I have hit my fingers too many times. Plus, when I had a 7" grinder, it really helped with the vibration.supergper said:thats a good idea, I am just usually too lazy to get gloves on, I used to wear the mechanix gloves all the time while working but they get so dirty and I didn't want to get my grinder dirty
