this is the answers I have for several of the above posts.
Dave told me he runs the VQ35de which is a 3.5 (I'm not arguing just stating what i was told. And his suspension fits into stock classes. everyone knows in off-road stock aint stock. and yes Dave is a bad azz from way back I've know him and his projects since about 1989 or 90 and he has always built top quality.
I would rather race for a trophy than $50 or $ 500 pay back with lower entries fees. The way I'm going to try
and build it is the prizes and cash from the contingency sponsor's will pay a lot more than a purse but for this program to work we have to get lots of team racing so it is appealing for shops and stores to put up money and prizes.
As for a stocker class yes I am putting one of those together very inexpensive it will be. However if it starts turning into people acting like the racers did down at that circle track in springville years ago it will go away very fast. I want to have it so that people that are serious about off-road racing and are looking to build nice rigs on a budget have a way to start not so that people can throw together some piece of crap and pretend to be Burt Reynolds (no dis-respect to Burt)

Is the 7 class going to be a open class like 1450 or more like 7200 class? Are you going going to rollover the points from the first race this year at Bore or starting over with the points?

Thanks

Damn, that's what I was planning to do.

Or race this:

I guess I'll have to start my own amateur races and get the BLM to close 5MP for me.

The 3 classes I am pulling for the most are 7,1450 and 7200 (but we will most likely call it class 6). 7 will be a straightup 7, 1450 will follow snore rules and 7200/6 is the class I run so I really would like to see it do well. And I'm going to be building a stock truck for our new "Bonneville stocker" class.

Thanks So will you be running with us at the next Snore race in a few weeks with our 7200?

No, I will Probably go down to help support Dave Blakely and Todd Wyllie but not race. our history for this past year has been racing with Snore in class 10 and wanting to change over to class 6/7200 and we have decided to get the switch started now so we can be ready for Bonneville racing's 2010 season.
