i have a 91 runner thats frame height is 26inches i was just wondering if maybe i could clear 37s or would i be better off with 35s? i see that you could probably clear 37s and your frame height is about 25.

the only reason im running 35"s it so it cruises good on the street and also i only have 4:88 gears so i didnt want to go to big and make it not fun to drive 37 you could clear easy. in the earlier pics of my truck with the black rim those are 37"s

hey how did you measure were to cut for the frenched shackles ? and what did you use to cut the frame??


I got the measurements from Skys-manufacturing.com off there tacoma sas kit that gave me a ruff measurement of were to put the frenched shackles. then i tacked the front hanger to find were it needed to be in order to have a good shackle angle. it took me two trys to get it right.
and i just used a angle grinder with a cut off wheel to but the frame for the frenched shackles.

Did you just buy some square tubing and weld to the frame for your mudflap bracket? I need to throw something together so I don't get hassled.
 
yeah i just went to the metal supply and picked up some squar tube and another peace that fit inside simple but effective.
