I think the fiberglass tops are more robust than the roll bars.
The ground is very hard on the uphill side and very soft on the downhill side. I think Rebar/spikes uphill, and forward of the truck would be the ticket.
I was thinking as an anchor point(s) a couple well placed T posts could limit the liability of a vehicle anchor and be easily removed with a hi lift.
Side note: would anchoring the front and a rear burn to get the rig perpendicular to the road vs parallel help? It could limit the potential side roll.
How robust are the rollbars on 1st gen's?.
Had a friend look at this thread and said what I was afraid to say. He's worried that with the holiday weekend that it will most likely get stripped or pushed over by Friday.
I'm willing to cancel my plans in the morning (4th) and go up there, but would need to be back by about 2:00.
The earliest I could be there on Friday is around 7:30 as I'll be coming off a graveyard shift.
