I think splitting the raffle in 2 is a good idea.
Having the low $$$ stuff next to the more expensive items might make some leery about spending a lot of money on the raffle.

I'd be okay if the tickets I have now went for a raffle for the cheaper stuff, and the raffle for the other stuff went on longer.

As far as two raffles, I think someone who bought tickets expecting to be in the drawing for the bigger items might feel ripped off if they were not in the end. Or do you mean to still keep all the tickets in and just do a second drawing? That might give the winners of the first go around an unfair advantage.
Two raffles is complicated, but I think extending the deadline a bit is a good idea.

I agree with extending the dead line, two raffles would cause problems...

I guess it all depends on who is donating...are they donating in hopes of winning something or donating to help joe out and if they win something its just icing on the cake. I think everyone needs to keep in mind the reason for the donation;)

I dropped off some cash for tickets today :D

Looks like the prize pile is starting to show up

I'd say extend it. I think splitting it would be bad.

The prizes in this raffle ROCK! It's great to see all of the vendors stepping up and donating some really cool stuff!!!!!

It seems like if someone were to buy 4 tickets, 1 would be a winner. Just that many prizes and it seems like not that many tickets sold yet.

I bought Angie a digital thermeter and a pulse oximeter. I've also started paying off the $3500 bill to a care center.

Havent heard from you in awhile wonder how angela is doing and how you are holding up?

Angie is now in the Intermediate Care Unit at the U. She will be here until her lungs clear out better. That will be soon, then she will go to a normal floor unit here. Everyday Ang makes a little progress for the good. I'm here all day today with her. She doesn't know that her grandmother passed away a few days ago.:( I'm not telling her until she asks about her. Soon I will put the Kidney Transplant docs into a choke hold about getting a transplant in the next few months.
