Got the motor wired this weekend. That went fast. Did a lot of planning and need to go buy some metal and borrow a welder. Waiting for my seats and few other things to get here.

Well, one step forward and 3 steps back. Got my tranny back from getting the reverse manual valve body put in and went to install it Tuesday night. I need to get that and the t-case in so I can lay out the floor and get the seats mounted. I get everything lined up on the tranny when I notice the flywheel is concave in the middle. Hmmmm, this looks different than the flat flywheels I'm used to so I decide to do some research. Found out I need a spacer adapter between the flywheel and the input shaft so I ordered one of those yesterday. In the mean time I ordered up some control arms and a tie rod from Summit.

It goes without saying that progress is sloooowwwww. Been working on the hood and grill too, and they are coming along nicely.

He's been too busy boating and landscaping to even work on it. I think it still looks exactly like it did when he picked it up from Kyle.

Hahaha, thank goodness you found this, now I don't have to go and search. Hey Meat, I think I've made more progress on the buggy than you on the TJ. :p I cut the bar out behind the seats so I can push it back 3". I just ordered and got the new oil pan and assessories that Keil posted up on his build. Thanks man. BTW, where do you mount that extra baffle?

Just to keep the record straight, haven't been on the boat since the first of June. It's the da#@ front yard that's been taking up the time. Finished the sprinkler system on Saturday and putting paver walk ways in today. Once they are in I'll be back on the buggy. No big hurry for sod until closer to fall.

It must bolt to the bottom of the motor, because it doesn't match any pattern I can see in the pan.

Yes you are correct, it would be obvious though when you removed the old one because it has a baffle too it's just one section larger.

No, I also moved mine from someone else's garage to my house and I also have not touched it since.

Oh, I touch mine almost daily. My yard project is coming to a close, hopefully this weekend. Then I'll be hitting the buggy hard. I need to wheel again.

Well, finally made some progress this past weekend despite an unexpected hospital venture I've posted in Chit Chat.

I got the new bling Summit Machine upper control arms and tie rod in. Also bent and installed the new bar behind the seats to get 4 more inches of leg room. That pushed the tool box back a bit, and the fuel cell back 2". Built a removable bracket for the tool box so it can go in and out as needed. Moved the brake pedal mounting bracket forward 3" and up a bit. Figured out how I'm going to install the seats. I know this is worthless without pics, but I'll get them when I can.

It wasn't everything I was going to get done in the 4 days I had planned, but at least I'm back working on it again. Anyone know where I can get a 26" x 49.5" peice of 7/16s aluminum?

Pics of the new bling added, and the tool box and fuel cell. Also note that the brake pedals have been moved forward 3" and a new bar behind the seats to allow them back almost 4". I now have the room I need to proceed.

Cooling, cold air intake, and fuel system is next.
