Theres so much potential there for good trails.
any advice on arm sleeves/long sleeve shirts ?
My older skin is getting thinner and last weekend I brushed a Juniper bush and my arm looks like I've been flayed. It was minor but damn, the blood flow. This wasn't a wreck or anything, just a scrape. I brushed a tree and kept on going but it started to fill my glove.

They are definitely warmer than no sleeve/ long sleeve, and I sweat a lot anyway, but the extra warmth doesn't really bother me. If it's hot outside, and I know I am doing a long climb, I won't put them on until I start my descent. If I am doing mixed riding, I just wear them and deal with it. I also wear knee pads to protect my legs. I have had too many falls that left me bloodied to go without anymore.I need to get some. How hot are they?
so I can ride more often.
Hard to get bloody when you never go riding. When are we hitting a trail?
