Here's a few pics of my rims. Do you think they'll get me by for a while @sixstringsteve? I counted the clicks/reset on the hub, and I get about 12 of them in a full revolution of the crank.

I've had good luck with Fatty/Skinny Strippers for converting non-tubeless ready wheels and tires.

I run tannus inserts in my tires even though my bike is set up for tubeless. I have not had a flat yet and I run about 20 psi. They add weight, but I'm fat and need more effort on my part

Any recommendation on tires?

depends on what you like to ride and whether you prefer lots of grip (and lots of weight), or low weight (and low grip). I like Maxxis Minion DHR2s front and rear, but they're one of the heaviest tires out there. If you're running plus tires, I highly recommend this setup in a 2.8. But be warned, plus tires are EXPENSIVE!

I'm pretty sure my frame will only fit 2.35 or 2.4 tires. I'd prefer more grip. I'm not to concerned with weight.

Yeah, dhr2 front and rear is my favorite. Some people prefer an assegai up front or a dhf up front, and a dhr2 in back.

No pictures but I took the family camping @ Navajo lake on Cedar mnt and did the 13+ mile loop. It was so beautiful. If you ever get a chance to ride it do so. Ride it counter Clockwise.

Awesome. Navajo lake is such a good trail. If you're feeling like destroying yourself, the nearby virgin river rim trail is pretty spectacular too. Be warned, it's a BEAST. TONS of climbing. I wasn't able to complete the whole trail when I went.

I miss that miata! I miss riding, I had a crazy busy semester over the summer. I need to get back in riding shape for a Sedona trip!
